Register Now for the 2014 Piano Pedagogy Seminar

Registration forms for the January 25 Piano Pedagogy Seminar are now available! This year’s seminar features Dr. Cole Burger, who currently teaches the pedagogy classes at BGSU.

The seminar will take place from 9-4 at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Bowling Green.

The sessions include “Creative Sightreading” and “Collaborative Opportunities for Beginner Students.”

We are looking for 4 students to perform at the masterclass taking place from 11am-noon. Students may be at any level and should perform by memory.

Advanced notice: Please save the date for the Northwest District’s Piano Pedagogy Seminar to be held on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Bowling Green.

Our featured speaker will be Dr. Cole Burger, professor at Bowling Green State University.

Piano Pedagogy Seminar – May 18, 2013

We are pleased to announce that the Northwest District OMTA is sponsoring a Piano Pedagogy Seminar on Saturday, May 18 from 9-4pm, at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Bowling Green. The topic is “Teaching Intermediate Students” and our speaker is Dr. Adrienne Wiley, professor at Central Michigan University. Registration forms will be sent out next week. We hope you will join us for one-day event!
